March, 2000. Bannik, Besançon. Cock Robin is not any more. that, it is no scoop. And Peter Kingsbery, his ex-leader is not any more the machine with tubes whether he is in the 80s. Indeed, showing beautiful about fifty years, the chap possesses the assurance Zen of those who have to prove nothing more, want to prove nothing more. The millions of albums ? He has already sold them, about fifteen, only that. Tubes? He has already written it, with Anna LaCazio, at the time of Cock Robin, the beautiful time.

The time of the interglobal classical authors in the immediate efficiency thus Exit. For the moment, Peter-auteur, composer, singer, bass player - knows what he wants and knows how to surround himself. On scene, a Synthe(sizer); a section of three brass instruments; a drummer, the truth, finished the bîte with rhythms; and Alix in guitaires-Jad Wio, Charlélie Couture-conjugate timeless occasions ("just around the corner) ", " Groovy kind of love ") and recent compositons " la Faille ", sung in French) during two hours of an impeccable set.

Obviously, the voice of Anna misses terribly, but the magic of the group work allied to the experience engenders new orchestrations and restores a new breath in the formerfragments, and an former soul in the new. On scene, the emotion and the melancholy are tangible, as far as this romantic dandy, one of the last ones, is rare. A concert a month, just to roam the new titles, and to prepare the next album. Cock Robin is not any more, but Peter Kingsbery's history is far from being ended.
