Peter Kingsbery solo

At the beginning of the 80s, Peter Kingsbery formed with Anna LaCazio, the duet of Cock Robin. A group which will know a lightning success with titles " The promise you made " or " Just around the Corner ". After several million sold albums, he will sink itself in full glory. " Cock Robin had been born in Los Angeles, but, bizarrely, our group was not perceived(collected) as very popular in the United States. We achieved a result more in Europe and Anna did not want to travel any more ", explains Peter, who withdraws a while before beginning a solo career.

Three albums later, this author composer (who worked for Pagny, Maurane, Foly) did not still

take off in spite of the enormous success of " Only the very best ", the English adaptation of a title of Starmania. Michel Berger had asked me to record this title, but in his death, it was not question for me to exploit this success.

A chaste and discreet artist who admits to find a certain force in the melancholy. " I have a voice which carries quite a lot of feelings. When I try to sing funny things, that passes badly, I feel badly dressed ! "

On scene, besides titles of Cock Robin, he interprets extracts of his last album " Pretty Ballerina " and unpublished works. " For the first time I am going to test my new songs in public. I am happy because I believe that I finally found my way. " As for her voice, it remains one of the most beautiful of these last years (dixit Goldman).
