Peter's statement concerning the cancelled concerts:
"I apologize for all that has happened concerning the
concerts booked and then cancelled at the Olympia. I have waited too
long to write anything about this catastrophie. Its taken me a while to
resurface as the cancellation of these dates was equally enraging and
demoralizing for me as well as for some of you. Its all due to an
overconfidant Record Company and lack of a good plan, though it is only
you and I who pay the consequences. I have also been a bit the victim of
a producer (I'm on license only to Warner) who walked out on the project
mid-stream leaving everyone shaking their heads over what to do next.
Record releases are not as simple nor assurred as the public is led to
believe. I for one have never gotton used to what is promised versus
what is delivered to the public. Its worse than the so-called search for
weapons of mass destruction. Please forgive this terrible period of
mixed-up, chaotic nonsense in hopes of a better plan and execution in
the future. |

désolé pour ce qui s'est produit avec les concerts confirmés, puis
annulés, notamment à l'Olympia. J'ai sans doute attendu trop longtemps
avant d'écrire quelque chose au sujet de cette catastrophe. Il m'a fallu
un certain temps pour me remettre, car l'annulation de ces dates ont été
enrageantes et démoralisantes pour moi autant que pour certains d'entre
vous. Tout ceci est dû à une maison de disque qui a eu un peu trop
confiance en elle, ainsi qu'à un manque de planification, même si vous
êtes les seuls, avec moi, à en payer les conséquences. J'ai en outre été
quelque peu victime d'un producteur (n'étant sous contrat qu'avec la
Warner) qui a laissé tomber le projet à mi-parcours en laissant les autres
se débrouiller sur ce qu'il restait à faire. Sortir un disque n'est pas
une chose aussi facile et aussi sûre qu'on pourrait le croire, et il y a
parfois un monde entre ce qui nous est promis et ce qui est finalement
livré au public. S'il vous plait, pardonnez-moi pour cette difficile
période quelque peu chaotique et sans aucun sens... avec l'espoir d'un

Am 5.11.2002
ist Peter's neue CD "Mon inconnue" bei WEA in Frankreich
erschienen. Sie enthält 11 französische Titel und ein englisches Lied.
Ich habe sie über amazon.fr
bestellt, das ging problemlos und der Preis war erträglich.
Meine Anspieltips: "Hélianthème", "La Faille" und "The long last second" ... einziger Wermutstropfen - nur für letzteren Song hat Peter auch den Text geschrieben, ansonsten ist er 'nur' für die Musik verantwortlich. |

Die für Dezember 2002 angekündigte Tour in Frankreich ist verschoben, am 12. Mai 2003 findet im Olympia (Paris) ein Konzert statt. Weitere Termine sollen folgen.
