Disappointing ... not really ... for those people seeing him for the first time this tour, this might have been a short but very professional show. David started in good mood, joking about Halloween. Great audience, very good atmosphere ... but for reasons I cannot explain very early I had the impression that this show would not be too remarkable for those people who have seen him more than once this year. David's voice didn't seem to be in best shape, and - suddenly - after 'Hallo Spaceboy' he quit joking and comunicating with the audience ... and so it became a very short set. For me - being in Rotterdam and Frankfurt before - it was very enjoyable to see 'Rebel Rebel', 'Reality', 'Afraid', 'She'll drive the big car' and 'The lonliest guy' added to the setlist, as I didn't get to hear them before - 'She'll drive the big car' (one of my least favourites from 'Reality' worked very well) - and that he played the massivly improved 'Loving the alien' (which he left out in Frankfurt). The planned setlist included at least two more songs as encore, maybe we get to know why he cut them someday. Nevertheless it was a nice show ... after a very wet start, waiting in front of the Koelnarena while it was heavily raining, then a guest appearence from The Dandy Warhols that was even worse than the shows before - bad sound, the even quit 'Bohemians like you', a singer who always refuses to get into contact to the audience - the only highlight is keyboardist Zia McCabe - this time in a very exciting 'Pippi Longstocking' outfit - who always has a smile for the audience, when all the other band members already left the stage she was laughing a 'Happy Halloween' to the audience, throwing sweets to us ... The most remarkable things was again  a great aftershow party, this time at 'Blueshell' in Cologne. I can't remember all, but there have been Angel, Piper, Ladyofthelake, J_lope, Kertinz and her friends Silvia & Claudia, Wine, Regina, Ant, Georg, deiwob, Guido from davidbowie.de and many more, dancing to music of sailor, Iggy Pop, U2 and so on. Was great to meet you all (again). At last this made this night a great one. And he promised again - 'See you next spring'!
