Live DVD Dublin 2003

Mayor of the Sunset Strip, a documentary about Los Angeles DJ Rodney Bingenheimer that features interviews with David Bowie, Cher, Courtney Love, Alice Cooper, Brooke Shields, Gwen Stefani, Coldplay, Nancy Sinatra and Joey Ramone, will debut June 17th at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Among the 119 songs featured in the film are Dramarama's "Anything," David Bowie's "All the Madmen," and "Rodney on the Roq," written by Brian Wilson about Bingenheimer.

"It is true that 1.Outside, Earthling and 'hours...' will be reissued some time this year, though we don't have exact dates just yet. These will be mid price versions of the original single disc albums just to get them back on the shelves. There are also deluxe versions planned for 2004 that will include a bonus CD for each release. 

These bonus discs will contain a dozen or so songs each, and the tracks will be drawn from rare and hard-to-find releases and promos. They will not contain unreleased and unfinished versions of tracks such as the recently distributed unfinished Outside stolen outtakes. That's not to say these kind of things will never see the light of day, it just means these releases aren't the place for them.
