Writting this I remember that I always
prefered German music to English. I guess that changed when Sting's
'Russians' got famous - everybody wanted to understand the lyrics and so did
I ... so he changed
Today I'm not always sure about his recent recordings, but he always surprises me with some incredible songs! |

Sting's music
is some kind of soundtrack to a very special time in my life - spending some
months in Oxford, I had to drive about 1 hour by bus to reach school and
again 1 hour back. This fall/winter time was - what else should it be in
England - quite misty. The perfect time to listen to Sting's 'Mercury
Falling' ... later I had never again so much time to think of what I want to
be my aims in life, so Oxford and Sting influenced my further life quite a
lot.
my attitude
towards English music (and language) ... quite a big influence on one life,
isn't it?!
